As a sponsor, Johnson Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is happy to put its name to the Wood Hounds Off-Road Food Drive in time for the holiday season. This second annual holiday food drive is scheduled for Nov. 20, at Miller's Ale House in Rockaway and will benefit Nourish.NJ.
So, if you're coming from Budd Lake, various staples and other items may be brought and donated at the Wood Hounds Off-Road tent on-location at Miller's Ale House.
What items may I bring to the food drive?
Given the circumstances surrounding those in need, anything appropriate such as the following food items and hygiene-related products will do much for Nourish.NJ when distributing:
- Bagged and boxed cereal.
- Boxed and canned pasta.
- Canned soups, stews and chili.
- Canned vegetables.
- Crackers and granola bars.
- Dried beans.
- Pasta sauce.
- Boxed mac and cheese dinners.
- Rice and peanut butter.
- Plastic utensils, napkins and can openers.
- Hygiene and clothing items consisting of toothpaste, shampoo, socks, winter gloves and hats.
- Shoprite gift cards and laundry pods are also being accepted for a holistic approach to donations.
And as an added attraction to the festivities, Johnson Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is taking part in the raffle as a sponsor. So, for every 10 items donated, you'll receive five raffle tickets provided to the person donating. Raffle tickets will not be sold, but only acquired through donations comprising lots of 10 items.
The more items donated will see those raffle tickets available for raffling at 7.30P at the Wood Hounds Off-Road tent.
